We have a 1 Year Old!

Olive has been 1 for a week. In the past few weeks the highligts are:
*we have a walker!
*tooth count is 6
*says a few words, "up" being the favorite
*knows a few signs-milk, more, all done and elephant
*waves hi & bye
*loves to dance to music

We had a fun birthday party and are still in shock that we have a 1 year old. It has been a great year though, couldn't ask for any better! Olive received so many great gifts-a singing & dancing elephant (thank you Kathy & Tom-she loves it!), books, clothes, toys, a sled, a really cute backpack with her name on it. Olive is very loved!

Arizona trip.

Last week we took a trip to Arizona to visit my sister. It was a wonderful trip and we had so much fun. I totally understand why people spend winters there-I could get used to 70 and sunny every day!

Olive was a very good traveller on her first 2 plane rides.

We had toys and books and aunt Lori spoiled Olive with lots of new things. Turns out shoes, a duster and handheld vacuum can provide hours of entertainment.

Olive saw her first palm tree.

Celebrated my birthday.

It was so much fun. We hope to go back soon!

11 Months

In a month we have a 1 year old. How is that possible?! Getting pictures didn't last long this month because Olive was wiggly and then my camera battery died.




Likes: waving hi and bye, going for walks, reading books, drinking from a sippy or straw cup, eating
Dislikes: sleeping in the crib

Olive loves Maddie and Maddie is very patient with her. :) No dogs were harmed in the making of this video. And Maddie was rewarded with the equivalent of half a turkey burger from Olive's dinner thanks to Olive throwing her crumbs after filming. :)

10 Months!

Olive is 10 months old today!

Her 2nd tooth came through today. I think you can see a bit of it in the last picture-not my best but getting pictures is becoming more challenging!

Pumpkin Patch

There is a pumpkin patch near Rochester we recently heard about. It's a really cute place and we had a fun day.

We think Olive had a great time.
