Little swimmer.

Olive had her first swimming lesson tonight. She is the youngest in class and the only girl. The class was spent kicking and sucking on a plastic boat. Seemed to be Olive's idea of a good time. I promise she was smiling the entire time in the pool, even though this picture doesn't show it. 

6 Months!

Olive was 6 months old yesterday. She is so much fun, starting to sit on her own and trying so many new things. Crazy how things change so much in 6 short months.

Great Grandma's Birthday

We went to Iowa to celebrate Jill's Grandma's/Olive's Great Grandma's 79th Birthday. We had fun visiting with everyone and celebrating the big day.

We have been very busy the past few weeks and have had lots of fun. Here's a quick summary of what we've been up to.

Olive's first try at eating food was avocado and it was a hit. She has since tried banana, pear and cereal, but avocado still seems to be the favorite.



We spend lots of time on our porch now that we have new windows. It's a great place to be!

A cute hat.

Olive got a cool hat from Mary Beth. It was from a shop in Dubuque that offered personalization. Now it's officially Olive's hat. :)
