At the farm

Olive took a trip to my cousin's farm in Albert Lea on Sunday to celebrate Ben's 9th Bitthday. It's the same farm my mom grew up on and was always one of my favorite places to visit when I was growing up. I think Olive likes it too.

Her first Dorito made the trip even better.

Mid May cool down.

Wind chills in the high 30s in mid May? No problem. Minnesota girls aren't afraid of a little wind.

My sister was in town over the weekend and we had a great time with her. She left just in time before the weather got too chilly.

And we are moving in 2 weeks! We'll be sad to leave our current house but we are excited for new adventures.

We got a beautiful flower delivery from Monroe and Olive. Not sure who sent it, but if you're reading this thank you so much!

Firsts & lasts

We just had our last weekend in our house. Moving day is Friday. We are mostly excited now. And a little sad to leave a place with many great neighbors and memories. Here is Olive saying "cheeeeeese" on a packing break.

We have packed almost everything so my parents may have dinner guests a lot this week. Olive had her first ear of corn at Grandma and Bop's house. Look how big this kid is getting!

Olive loves her grandma-Olive was looking back on the swing, but it looks like they are kissing. So cute.

17 Months of fun.

One person in our family has more fun than the others! That person is 17 months old today. :)

Olive at the Minnesota Children's Museum- Rochester with Grandma today.

And lunch yesterday with Granmda and Bop.

A few busy weeks coming up as we pack and prepare to move later this month. But hopefully I'll get a few posts up with all the changes.

Moving adventures.

As we prep our house to put it on the market, Olive has lots of opportunities to climb new things and have (scary for everyone else) fun.

Note the spackle and tool she took to the step stool herself.

And of course, there have been trips to the hardware store.

Keep your fingers crossed for us that our house sells quickly.

Fun Friday with Grandma

I know Olive has way more fun with Grandma than I ever have at work. Some days there are pictures to prove it!

Hopping around with a bunny hat on.

Some Easter art with a potato stamp.

Visiting the neighborhood chickens.

Happy 1st Day of Spring!

Month of birthdays.

Jill's birthday was a couple of weeks ago. Olive had fun celebrating with her.

Olive's great uncle Jerry had a birthday dinner at the mall. Olive enjoyed watching the guys grill the food, but only really enjoyed eating her mac and cheese. And running around the mall afterward was fun.

Also, my parents' friend Jack had a birthday last week and Olive went with to celebrate.

It's been an exhausting week and fun weekend. Here's Olive's favorite way to nap.

February fun!

Olive has had a fun few days with the warmer weather, a new bike and crafts with Grandma.

Riding her new bike with a cape on.

Best part of getting a new bike! The box it came in.

The best toys

This morning is proof that spoons and a clean, empty dishwasher are about 1000 times more fun than any toy we could buy. :)

Fun weekend.

You know it has been a busy weekend celebrating Valentine's Day and Jill's birthday when Olive stays asleep from the car seat into the house. Sunday morning birthday brunch with Grandma and Bop was exhausting.

Mmmm bread.

Olive loves bread. I ripped her a few pieces off the loaf, but she insisted on taking bites from the big piece. Silly girl.

An Iowa visit.

We had a nice visit to Iowa last weekend despite being 2/3rds of us being sick (still crossing fingers we didn't get anyone else sick while we were there!). Jill and her mom made Olive a fancy cake to celebrate her birthday too.

Christmas Update

Better late than never, right? We had a very fun Christmas and Olive got so many new things. Had lots of treats (she knew to go right to my dad-aka "Bop"- once she found the cookie tray) and my sister even had the patience for a very long FaceTime session.
