Friday!

Jill's aunt Mary Beth sent me a message reminding me that "everybody's working for the weekend" and while it has always been true, having Olive brings the meaning to a whole new level. Weekends are what I look forward to from the moment I wake up Monday morning until 3:30pm Friday afternoon. Over 48 wonderful hours spent with my family are the best hours of the week. My mom helps us out SO much throughout the week with laundry and dishes and cleaning that we are so thankful we can spend as much time as possible while we're home with Olive. But with weeks like this past one when bedtime shifted to 6:15pm for some unknown reason (my wise friend Carrie says to blame everything on growth spurts), the hours at home with Olive were just not enough. So these next 2 days I will enjoy every single minute without worrying about work or anything else. With a weekend starting out with lots of cuddling, I don't think that will be a problem.

And I honestly have no idea how people who don't wear their babies do it. It is the absolute best to be close to her and Olive takes the best naps in her wrap or carrier.
